Don Adán Coffee is a unique Single Origin, Single Estate Coffee which is also Strictly High Grown. Single Estate Coffees are rare in today’s market, even though the advantages of Single Origin/ Single Estate Coffee is substantial compared to lesser quality blended coffees.
Essentially, Single Origin / Single Estate Coffee ensures a consistent quality, from the crop to your cup. Strictly High Grown Coffee further enhances this quality. These characteristics are then all brought to life by a Master Roast who is able to personally oversee the roasting process.
Our multiple award winning coffee is roasted in small batches, with the best roasting and de-stoning equipment. Our Roast Master, Gerardo Adán Barrios, uses aroma, sound, colour and temperature measurement equipment to ensure a consistently fantastic transformation of the coffee bean.
There are 3 different roasting degrees in the Don Adán Blend. They range from Medium to Medium dark. This is to enhance not only the aromatics but also the sugars that give a complexity to the cup.
At Don Adán Coffee, we value freshness; it is an essential part of our business, however we need your commitment to achieve this.
We place “Born On” dates in our bags, not use by dates, and roast-to-order which guarantees quality and consistency. We ask that you help us maintain the freshness of our coffee by storing the beans in an airtight container in a cupboard, not in the fridge or freezer as this adds moisture.
We also ask that you only purchase what you can consume within 2 weeks. After this time the flavours we have worked so hard to create, begin to change.

Don Adán Coffee offers 3 house blends and a decaffeinated coffee, which we have out-sourced. Each of these are available from our cafe’s or can be ordered through this website.
As Roast Master for Don Adan, it is Gerardo Barrios’ responsibility to personally ensure consistency throughout the roasting process. To fulfil this it is his duty to personally roast all coffee bearing our name. The coffee is then distributed through our retail outlets and several carefully selected wholesale clients.
